Biography
Russell Celyn Jones’ novels are: The Ninth Wave; Ten Seconds from the Sun; Surface Tension; The Eros Hunter; An Interference of Light; Small Times; Soldiers and Innocents. For his fiction he has been the recipient of a Society of Author’s Award, Welsh Arts Council Fiction Award, the David Higham Prize and the Weishanhu Prize (China). He has judged the Man Booker Prize, and was a reviewer for The Times for fifteen years. He is Emeritus Professor of Creative Writing at Birkbeck College, University of London.
