Windsurfing - great fun for me as a first timer.
Thanks to John I managed to spend some time sailing and less time falling off!
Very generous with his time to run so many sessions. Very calm.
Windsurfing was very well taught and I benefitted from all the tuition and practice on the beach during windy days, It was a joy to put all the practice together on the last day.
Kayaking with John was fun.
Paddle Boarding - chilled and excellent.
John was lovely and patient. After many setbacks due to this I’ve improved at kayaking.

Travel
To travel to Skyros Island you must go to Athens. We have organised transfers from Athens (detailed below) to take the stress out of your journey. We recommend organising your domestic travel first before securing your international flight and organised transfer with Skyros. This is peak season in Greece and flights often sell out. For this session we are offering organised transfers to meet the domestic flight and overland ferry.
Domestic Travel (Athens – Skyros, Flight or Overland)
Flight
OUTBOUND: Departing Athens on the 28th July at 2.35pm, arriving to Skyros at 3.15pm
RETURN: Departing Skyros on 11th August at 3.35pm, arriving to Athens at 4.20pm
Overland Ferry
OUTBOUND: Coach departing The Dorian Inn (Central Athens) at 12pm to meet the 4pm ferry.

*Please note if booking the return domestic flight you will need an additional night B&B in Atsitsa.
International Travel (to/from Athens)
OUTBOUND (if travelling on the domestic flight): Arrive to Athens on or before 12.35pm on the 28th July in time to catch the connecting flight to Skyros.
OUTBOUND (if travelling overland): Arrive in Central Athens on or before 11am to allow yourself time to meet the coach departing central Athens at 12pm.
Many choose to arrive the day before for a more relaxed journey (on the 27th July).
For those arriving in Athens on the 27th July we have an organised transfer including an overnight stay in Central Athens. If many arrive into Athens at a similar time we will arrange a courtesy coach (minimum numbers required) departing Athens Airport to the hotel where you can relax and meet others joining the session.
The following day we have the onward journey organised. If travelling to Skyros on the domestic flight there will be a bus departing to Athens airport in time for the flight to Skyros. To join this transfer, select Single/Twin Share at the Dorian, Transfer to Athens Airport & Transfer to Atsitsa when booking. For those travelling overland please select Overland with Single/Twin Share at The Dorian Inn.
If arriving into Athens on the 28th July and travelling on the flight to Skyros you will only require a transfer from Skyros Airport to Atsitsa. To secure this please select Transfer from Skyros Airport to Atsitsa only when booking.
If arriving into Athens on the 28th July or before and not requiring a hotel stay before travelling overland please select the Overland Transfer No Hotel option when booking.
RETURN (if travelling on domestic flight) We have an organised transfer from Atsitsa to Skyros Airport in time for the flight to Athens. To join this organised transfer, select Transfer to Skyros Airport when booking. We recommend allowing at least two hours in Athens Airport by booking an international return flight after 6.20pm on 11th August.
RETURN (if travelling overland by ferry) We have organised the journey to take you straight from Atsitsa to Athens airport via the ferry to Kymi. To join this transfer please select Overland to Athens Airport. The estimated arrival time to Athens airport is 12.40pm so we advised international flights after 2.40pm on the 10th August.
