Holiday Facilitators: Aimee Harman
skill, experience, warmth
Biography

There are no limits with mosaics. They can be interpreted into your own style, using different mediums to create art unlike anyone else's without having to have any drawing abilities. Aimee has been involved with the fascinating, and ever-evolving art of mosaic since 1997.
Her mosaic work based on Minerva - the Roman goddess - is displayed on board Belmond and The Northern Belle, the vintage trains previously known as The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
From school visits, to cruises, talks for WI groups, workshops from home, Create and Craft TV demonstrations, and having a mosaic book published, her list of experience is quite substantial considering she took it up as a hobby in her 30s, 'A late starter', her mother once said.
"This skill also gives me confidence to adorn my own home in my art, so that I can look back at this lockdown time we are spending there, and hold those better memories as art is very healing."
Aimee lives in Peacehaven, East Sussex and is a grandmother of three. See aimeeharman.com
