Finding your own voice and developing your guitar skills
Phil will be offering inclusive, progressive, supportive and creative singing and guitar workshops.
Phil plans for those joining him to find their own unique voice and develop their own style of guitar playing. He also plans to weave those skills into new songs created by the group.
Singing & Songwriting
Phil will help with developing confidence and expression and finding one's own unique vocal style looking at expression, phrasing, technique/breathing/pitching, improvisation, harmony and various styles of singing.
Guitar
Developing guitar skills, rhythm, chords, finger picking, technique, open tunings, improvisation, creating lead solos, backing a singer, finding and playing hooks, slide guitar, feel.
We will also analyse some of the styles of the great guitar players and look at the story of the guitar and how it is used in various types of music including Rock/Pop, Blues, Folk, Celtic, country, World music and jazz
Phil's aim is to bring the participants together in an open fun, intuitive and natural way though the spirit of music.

Phil's course is held in Atsitsa Bay on Skyros island in Greece and is part of the wide range of courses and activities available. The holiday includes full board twin shared accommodation in an eco-hut. Single upgrades and twin shares in the house are available. About Phil Saatchi
Phil Saatchi is musician, singer, writer and music producer.
A former journalist and care worker, he won the John Lennon Song Writing Competition, was formerly signed solo to A@M Records and toured Europe with Joan Armatrading and Level 42.
In England, he runs a Sussex based recording studio, helping upcoming singer/songwriters to get the best out of their songs, while writing and recording his own tunes.
He also works with singers who cannot play, who might have just the start of an idea for a song, even a lyric, and will help develop these ideas.
Phil has also worked with members of Roxy Music, is a Goldsmiths University Music Workshop Skills graduate, runs sing songs for the elderly and vocal, percussion guitar and songwriting workshops for children and adults.
