A Skyros Representative will meet the following flights arriving in Bangkok at approximately 4pm on the first date of the session (this will mean leaving London the day before):

Thai Air TG917 from Heathrow
*Gulf Air GF2 from Heathrow (New Year holiday only)
*Flights for New Year to Thailand are limited and so we have arranged a very special group booking with Gulf Air for New Year in Thailand which should guarantee first, the seats and secondly, the lowest price possible. However, in order to secure preferential prices, this must be booked before the 24th of October. If you would like to take this option, please call us on 01983 865566 as we need to arrange this for you.
You should book a return flight after 1pm on the last date of the session.

Other Flights
If you are happy to make your own way to the Sofitel, some indirect routes to Bangkok may be cheaper. You should aim to arrive in Bangkok before 4pm, and can take a metered taxi to the Sofitel Silom for roughly £5.00, to join the rest of the group.
Transfer to the Island
Skyros offers a transfer from Bangkok to Koh Chang for £155.00 which includes two nights shared accommodation at the 5-star Sofitel Silom on the first and last night of the holiday, and coach and ferry transport to and from Koh Chang. Optional excursions in Bangkok to the night markets, a Thai dance show and the Jim Thompson house are also available on this transfer.

Independent travel
You may prefer to make your own way to Koh Chang. You can do this in one of two ways:
Domestic flight and ferry: Fly from Bangkok to Trat. From there you can take a taxi that will take you on to the ferry to Koh Chang, and straight to the Aiyapura resort on the other side.
Bus and ferry: Take a bus from Bangkok Ekamai Eastern Bus Terminal to Trat. You will need to book your seat. The journey will take roughly 5 hours depending on traffic. From Trat take a taxi to Ao Thammachat Pier and take the public ferry to Koh Chang. On arrival take a local taxi to the Aiyapura resort.
