Whichever holiday you choose, book a designated flight and the Skyros Group Transfer – it’s the easiest way to get there. We will take care of you from the moment you step off the plane.

Designated Flights to Athens from the UK

If the Skyros holiday starts on Saturday, take a Friday flight to Athens, and if it starts on Sunday, take a Saturday flight.

The flight we recommend and meet at the airport is the Aegean Flight A3603. It leaves Heathrow airport (Terminal 1) at 11:50 and arrives in Athens at 17:35. This flight has six onward connections via a transfer in London to Manchester, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin. The return flight A3606 is on the last day of the holiday at 17:20 hours.

Other flights

If the designated flights do not suit you, or if you are travelling from another location, book a flight to arrive in Athens any time the day before the Skyros session starts and take a taxi to the Titania Hotel (see below) to join the Group Transfer to the island. For cheaper options by public bus or train, please contact the UK office on 01983 865566.

Group Transfer

If you want to join the group transfer to, and from, the island, and you are on a designated flight you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel for the night. All those on non-designated flights can meet the group at the hotel.Next day you will be taken by coach and ferry to the island. The Group Transfer includes shared accommodation for the night in Athens and the return ferry and coach journey from Skyros to the Athens airport. Total cost: £155.

This year we are using the 4 star hotel - the Titania. The hotel is located in the heart of Athens in Panepistimiou Avenue which is between Syntagma and Omonia, the two main squares in Athens. It's a 4 star hotel with 5 star facilities (see www.titania.gr). Independent travellers can get there from the airport by taking the metro to Syntagma station and then to Omonia. Disembark at the first stop, Panepistimio, and then take the 3 minute walk to the hotel.

Public Transport
