Battambang has great charm, with a slow pace of life, vibrant markets and a mix of khmer and colonial French architecture.

Close to Angkor Wat on the edge of Siem Reap, the Sokha Angkor has a range of restaurants, and a nightly Cambodian dance show. The old town has great restaurants, lively nightlife and great markets.
Food
We offer half-board. This will sometimes be lunch, and sometimes dinner. Cambodian food is similar to Thai food with flavourful meals and seasoned with lemongrass and basil and there is an emphasis on fresh seafood. It has a French twist. Some foods now a staple of Cambodian cuisine (pumpkin, for example) arrived from other French colonies through the colonial administrators. In the Old French Quarter of Siem Reap you could easily imagine yourself in New Orleans or Alger. There is always a range of options including vegetarian and more spicy food.
The Breakfast buffets in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanookville hotels are a wonder to behold, and eat, with every kind of breakfast choice imaginable. Breakfast at the Stung Sanke is a simpler affair, with a choice of 'American' or 'Asian' breakfast. With lunch or dinner we will offer the experience of a range of restaurants, either at the hotels, or out and about.
